FEES FOR ESTATE PLANS FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2011
ESTATE PLANNING FEES:
For married couples, the trust package includes a Living Trust; an Assignment to Trust; a Certificate of Trust; Two pour over Wills, one California Deed to transfer the clients' residence to the Trust, two advance Health Care Directives, and two Durable Powers of Attorney for financial purposes: Total $1,400
For single persons, our Trust package includes a Living Trust; an Assignment to Trust; a Certificate of Trust; one pour over Will, one California Deed to transfer the clients' residence to the Trust, one advance Health Care Directive, and one Durable Powers of Attorney for financial purposes: Total $1,200
DEEDS:
The fee for additional Deeds for Trust packages is $200 per Deed for California real property, including preparation, signing, forwarding to attorney service, recordation of the Deed. Notarization and recording fees are extra. Out of County Deeds will have a messenger service fee.
Fees quoted for estate plans listed above are flat fees. They include all of the meetings and telephone calls needed to discuss the details of the estate plan, modifications to the estate plan in the draft stages, recording, mailing, and witnessing.
ALA CARTE FEES:
Wills (not part of a Trust package): $200 per person $300 per married couple, or registered domestic partners, including witnessing.
Health Care Directives (not a part of a Trust package): $200 per person, $300 per couple.
SPECIAL HOLDING TRUST: $500
Financial Power of Attorney (not part of a Trust package): $200 per person, $300 per couple.
Trust administration: $295 per hour.
Trust dispute $295 per hour.
Probate: Statutory fees where applicable, otherwise $295 per hour.
Initial consultations regarding estate plans are free.
Mediation $300 per hour $150 per side.
These fees will remain in effect until January 1, 2012.
The fees for couples assume all children are treated equally. Petition; Trusts; and Special needs Trusts are determined at time of interview, we extend special considerations to charitable Trust and former members of the United States Military.
Our office maintains hours from Monday thru Thursday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (we close the office from 12:00 to 1:00) and Friday 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
We accommodate clients in need of evening appointments.
